Artist Statement

For this project, we were required to make a pair of shoes completely out of masking tape. I choose to model my masking tape shoes after a pair of my work out shoes. The shoes are 7.5 inches long, with a wedge at the heel for better support. When creating the base of the shoe I had to add extra masking tape at the heel for the height to match the actual shoe.
